This cyanotype animation is made from 738 individual cyanotypes, of which some are hand toned with plants.
It was made in response to a series of workshops I ran over the summer  2023 for the local neurodivergent community and was
in collaboration with them and STRM charity's members.
It explores what it feels like to be neurodivergent in today's society, particularly the constant experience of feeling unseen and unheard. For many in our community, nature and the outdoors provide a vital sanctuary - a space where sensory experiences are organic and unforced, where the pressure to conform falls away. The natural world offers a kind of acceptance and peace that can be hard to find in conventional social settings. Through our film, we show how connecting with nature helps the neurodivergent community members find both solace and self-expression, contrasting sharply with the often overwhelming demands of everyday social environments.
