Cyanotype toning with plants w o r k s h o p

I’ll be joining the good people of @sustainabledarkroom in September during their annual in-person workshop week. The program is happening in London this year @setsetsetsetsetset as well as one day at Hornsey Rise Gardens, where you will find me teaching~
Cyanotypes & Botanical Toning: Growing, Harvesting, Making.

We’ll be starting from investigating the magic of sowing, plantings,
caring, harvesting and wild foraging of plant materials. We will
explore how to choose and prepare plants using historic pigment
extraction methods to make natural inks and how these skills and methods
translate in cyanotype toning and most importantly how to do all of
this sustainably, mindfully and in a reciprocal way. I know it’s
impossible you wouldn’t want to book a place but just if that doesn’t
tickle your fancy then there’s another nine beautiful workshops on offer
by:
Hanna Fletcher, Alice Cazenave, Edd Carr, Eileen White and Matthew Beach
